What is EDSX? EDSX is the official app used during EDS events to help invited attendees (sponsors, speakers, and delegates) navigate the day. It’s not a marketplace and does not sell anything—it’s a practical tool that works like a calendar for your event day, keeping everything in one place.

Session Details: Read abstracts, speaker bios, and room locations.
Check-in / Check-out: Quick, secure attendance.
Live Updates: Receive essential announcements and schedule changes.
Wayfinding & Info: Event map/room info, venue guidance, and key contacts.
Notes & Reminders: Keep quick notes and get prompted for what’s next.
Post-event Follow-ups: Access materials and feedback forms (when provided).
Account access: The app is invite-only. You’ll receive access if you’re registered for an EDS event as a sponsor, speaker, or delegate.

EDSX strictly prohibits any use of our services for CSAE. This includes, without limitation:
Creation, possession, distribution, promotion, hosting, or viewing of Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM);
Grooming or attempting to groom any person under 18 for sexual purposes;
Sexual extortion (“sextortion”) involving minors;
Trafficking or facilitating trafficking of minors for sexual purposes;
Any content, message, media, or conduct that sexualizes, exploits, or endangers a person known or reasonably believed to be under 18;
Use of AI-generated, synthetic, or manipulated content depicting minors in sexual contexts or abuse scenarios, where prohibited by law and/or platform policy.
We do not make exceptions. Any involvement in CSAE using EDSX will result in immediate and decisive action.
Ensure you’re on the latest app version (App Store / Google Play → Updates).
Restart your device and reopen EDSX.
Check your internet connection (Wi-Fi or mobile data).
Confirm permissions are enabled (Notifications; Camera if scanning badges).
If issues persist, delete and reinstall the app (your account data is server-side).
Who can use the app?
Invitees only. If you’re confirmed for an EDS event as a sponsor, speaker, or delegate, you’ll receive an invite to sign in.
How do I sign in?
Use the email that received your event invitation with your temporary password. If needed, tap “Forgot password” and follow the instructions.
I was invited but can’t sign in.
Double-check you’re using the same email we invited. If problems persist, contact it-support@edsxevents.com with your email, name, company, and event.
I can’t see my agenda.
Pull to refresh on the Agenda screen. If it still doesn’t appear, ensure you’re logged into the correct invited account and have a stable connection.
How do check-in / check-out?
Open the app when you arrive at a session; you may be prompted to check in. Some events use QR scanning and some require your full name at the room entrance or reception. If there’s a queue, staff can assist.
Are there any in-app purchases or sales?
No. EDSX is not a store and doesn’t sell anything. It’s a logistics and information tool for your event.
I’m not receiving notifications.
Verify notifications are enabled for EDSX in your device settings, make sure you’re signed in, and confirm Do Not Disturb/Focus modes aren’t blocking alerts.
Does the app work offline?
You’ll see the last synced data while offline, but live updates and check-ins require internet. We recommend staying connected during the event.
How do I update the app?
Search “EDSX” in the App Store or Google Play and tap Update.
How do I request deletion of my data?
Use our Delete My Data in-app feature or contact privacy@edsxevents.com with your request and all the necessary details. We’ll process requests per our Privacy Policy.

We collect and use data solely to operate the event experience (e.g., agenda, attendance logs) and as described in our Privacy Policy. We retain data only as long as necessary to provide the service and meet legal obligations. You can request deletion at any time via the form above.
To reduce the risk of EDSX being misused for CSAE, we may implement (as proportionate to our services):
Restricting EDSX to verified/professional users;
Internal procedures for handling CSAE/CSAM reports securely and sensitively;
Staff training on CSAE response obligations;
Technical and operational measures to detect and prevent obvious misuse of our services for illegal purposes.
These measures are periodically reviewed and may evolve in line with legal, technical, and industry best practices.
