DEFINITION OF TERMS

For the purpose of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) and other applicable regulations, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”), the data controller is EDS Brands Ltd (company number 14953711) of 6-7 Waterside Station Road, Harpenden, England AL5 4US. Our nominated representative for the purpose of Data and IT Protection is Enver Mustafa (The Director). 

ADDITIONAL RIGHTS FOR RESIDENTS OF THE EUROPEAN ECONOMIC AREA (EEA) AND GERMANY

For individuals in Germany, we process your data in compliance with the GDPR and Germany’s Federal Data Protection Act (Bundesdatenschutzgesetz or “BDSG”). 

  • Data Retention: We will retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, except where required otherwise by law. 
  • Cross-Border Data Transfers: When transferring data outside the EEA, including to the United States, we will implement appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) to ensure data protection compliance in line with EU and German regulations. 
  • Data Access, Correction, and Erasure: In addition to the rights provided by the GDPR, individuals in Germany may also request further restrictions on processing under the BDSG, especially where data is processed for direct marketing or based on legitimate interests. 
  • Consent Withdrawal: If you have provided consent to our data processing, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time by contacting privacy@edsxevents.com. 
  • Complaints: Individuals in Germany may file a complaint with the German supervisory authority, the Bundesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz und die Informationsfreiheit (BfDI), regarding data protection concerns. 

ADDITIONAL RIGHTS FOR RESIDENTS OF CALIFORNIA

For California residents, we comply with the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), which provides specific rights to residents regarding their personal data. This includes: 

  • Right to Know: California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect, use, disclose, and sell. 
  • Right to Access and Deletion: You may request to access or delete your data by contacting privacy@edsxevents.com, subject to certain exceptions. 
  • Right to Opt-Out: California residents have the right to opt-out of the sale of personal information, if applicable.

We use Cookies and similar tracking technologies to monitor activities on our website and improve user experience. German and EEA users will be prompted to opt-in to Cookies and tracking technologies in compliance with the GDPR. U.S. and California residents may adjust preferences as per the CCPA.
